This week we had studied and gain many things from my lecturer. Before she started lecture, she did recap and asked many question that related to the lessons that she had taught. After she finished, she started to lecture us and we learnt about type of IS such us TPS, MIS, DSS, ESS and ES. The following I’ll describe about what she had taught us.

FLOW OF INFORMATION BETWEEN MGT LEVELS
TPS records the data throughout every division or department in the organization. Each division or department is connected through the TPS to provide useful information to management levels throughout the company.

WHAT IS MIS?
MIS is an integrated collection of people, procedures, databases and devices that provides managers and decision makers with information to help achieve organizational goals.

What is DSS???
DSS is an organized collection of people, procedures, software, databases and devices used to support problem-specific decision making.
Input of DSS includes internal and external used to support unstructured problems.
It mainly for tactical managers that consists of 4 parts such as users, system, data and DM.
WHAT IS EIS?
EIS designed to support higher level of DM in Organization.

What is EXPERT SYSTEM (ES)?
ES overviews on computerized expert systems have been developed to diagnosed problems, predict future events and solve problems. It’s known as artificial intelligence.

In Lab class lecturer taught us a very good session was about how to insert references. This lesson made me know how to put references in my assignment and report as well. The following is the references that I studied in that Lab class.
